Homeopathic Treatment

Homeopathic treatment starts with an initial consultation. This session usually lasts around an hour and a half for an adult. The purpose of the session is for me to get to know all about you to find the most appropriate homeopathic remedy for you as an individual. We will discuss your complaints and how you experience them but also other aspects of your health and life including your general energy levels, previous medical history, your character, lifestyle and experiences.

After the consultation, I will analyse your case and post you a remedy with instructions on how to take it within a week. Remedies are usually in tablet form and often only one is prescribed.

The aim of the remedy is to stimulate your own body to heal itself and therefore, you may start to notice some changes after taking it.

I will want to see you at four to six weekly intervals to check on your progress. The follow-up sessions last between 45 minutes and an hour and the main purpose is to assess the action of the prescription. If needed, I will post another remedy to you after the follow-up.

Please be aware that healing can take time and is often related to how long you have been experiencing the symptoms as well as your general state of emotional and physical health. After your first follow-up session I will have a sense of how long I might need to see you and we can discuss this in more depth.

I practice from The Leeds Physiotherapy Clinic at 38 Park Square LS1 2NY and also do home visits in North Leeds. I see patients on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and one Saturday a month. Other days may be arranged at our mutual convenience.

My fees are as follows and include the cost of the homeopathic remedy and any postage if required:

*Start 2012 with homeopathic treatment to improve your health! For January and February I am offering a £20 discount off an initial consultation (normally £65 for adults and £50 for children). To take advantage of this offer, ring me and book an appointment as soon as possible!

*Students with a valid NUS card get a discount and are charged £50 for a first consultation and £35 for a follow-up consultation


For members of the same family, I offer a discount off the second patient's fees of £5 off an initial appointment and 10% off follow-up appointments.

Please note that a cancellation fee of £30 applies for missed or cancelled appointments with less than 48 hours notice.

It is worth considering joining Simply Health, or a similar private healthcare cash scheme when undergoing homeopathic treatment as you may be reimbursed up to 75% of the cost of the consultation (up to an annual maximum). Also, you may wish to explore with your GP as to whether you can be referred to me for treatment for chronic conditions.
